It is no secret that the cost of medical treatment, over-the-counter medications, and prescription medications climb higher in cost every year. This is a very frustrating problem that has caused many people to seek out a much lower amount of medical care that they need for their depression, than what they actually need.
Even worse, is there are numerous people that suffer from the symptoms that are associated with depression who are not able to get any type of medical care or medication for their condition, simply because they are not able to afford the high prices that are being charged. It may be quite shocking to learn that the yearly cost for depression treatment and wages that are lost is as high as approximately $52 billion.
This does not even include the cost for anxiety and other types of conditions of this nature. Although it is known that herbal remedies, vitamins, minerals, and supplements are a much safer alternative than taking a variety of prescription medications that are known for causing dangerous side effects and drug interactions, this does not change the fact that countless people are having to suffer their condition without any type of help at all.
