What is oxidation, and can it cause problems with depression?

Oxidation is the word that describes when a chemical reaction has occurred because oxygen has combined with another substance and this reaction has caused some type of change or it has completely destroyed the way in which it is normally supposed to function.

Oxidation is a process that has the ability to ultimately cause damage to the membranes of cells and it can also cause an interference with the regulatory system of the human body’s cells. Any important and normal function that the body is required to carry out that has had any type of interference can ultimately cause the individual to suffer from the conditions that are known as anxiety and depression.

The regular operation of your body relies upon a consistent systematic way of performing each of the functions that are needed for achieving and maintaining a strong and healthy body. When the body is run down and not operating as it should, individuals can begin to notice changes in their moods, changes in the level of energy that they normally have changes in their diet, and others. Of course each one of this can have a dramatic effect on depression.
