Depression is a mental illness that is it has direct impact on the mental conditions of the people. Depression sucks out complete energy from the affected person and makes him dull and lazy. The person loses hopes in life and thinks as if he is alone and no one cares for him. The affected person does not get proper sleep at night, feel sudden tremors.
Depression has severe impact on the nervous system of the people such that they are not able to make any decision. So it becomes important that depressed people must take complete rest to reduce the effect of depression. If they continue to work the disease will become even more chronic as stress and pressure will continue to build up.
Studies have shown that the after effects of depression are even more dangerous as compared to that caused by diseases such as arthritis, diabetes and many more. If proper rest is not taken then the person may get so much frustrated that he may think of suicide. To avoid such consequences it becomes mandatory for depressed people to relax and the members of the family must take care that the depressed person is not left alone otherwise this disease will spread.
