A lot of people do not face any significant side effects of the anti-depressant drug, Remeron. However, a few people may experience common tolerable side effects like drowsiness, unusual dry mouth, considerable increase in the appetite, weight gain, constipation, dizziness. Most of these after effects last for a couple of hours and do not require medicinal intervention for treatment. However, certain other side effects of the medicine like flu symptoms, abnormal thinking, muscle pain, state of confusion, back pain, difficulty in breathing require immediate consultation from the specialist. Some after effects of the drug may be potentially dangerous to the health of the consumer. These effects include persistence of suicidal thoughts, aggravation of anxiety level, restlessness, hallucinations, fast heart beat, sore throat, difficulty in breathing.
