How to Take Sarafem

The ideal dosage of Sarafem for the treatment of premenstrual dysphoric disorder is 20 mg per day. The drug should be taken, without fail, at least 14 days prior to the onset of the menstrual cycle. The dosage should be continued until the second day of the menses.

Ideally the recommended concentration of 20 mg should be repeated for consumption with every new cycle. However, it is better to consult a specialist to learn the right concentration, in accordance with the physical condition of every individual.
